Kollab Recruitment is currently recruiting 2 dedicated Kitchen Hands / Cooks for an exciting opportunity at the Dooralong Transformation Centre , located in a peaceful, remote setting. This is an ongoing casual role with the potential to move to permanent employment. Pay: Competitive hourly rate $32-$45/hr (with Weekend & Public Holiday Loadings) Flexible Hours: Ongoing part-time shifts available Remote Location: Must be comfortable working in a rural setting Pathway to Permanent Employment Shift Availability Position 1: Monday – Wednesday | 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM Position 2: Thursday – Sunday | 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM Immediate start preferred. Key Responsibilities Support meal preparation and service in line with dietary needs and facility guidelines Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen Assist with dishwashing and food storage Work independently and as part of a close-knit team Follow safe food handling and infection control protocols What We’re Looking For Prior cooking or kitchen hand experience (aged care, hospitality, or similar environments preferred) Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain) Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain) Understanding of infection control and hygiene practices COVID-19 vaccination Positive attitude and reliability Important Note: This facility is located in a remote area .
