Ongoing local opportunity for experienced Mechanical Fitters and Boilermakers to work with a well-established heavy industrial plant in Darwin. Be home every night – no FIFO! We are currently seeking qualified Mechanical Fitters and Boilermakers for an ongoing residential role at a busy cement and concrete industrial plant in Darwin. This is a fantastic opportunity for tradespeople with experience in fixed plant or mobile crushing and screening equipment who are looking for stable, Monday to Friday work with competitive pay and the benefit of being home every night. You’ll be responsible for a mix of planned and unplanned maintenance across a range of fixed plant machinery – including crushing systems, conveyors, tanks, load-out facilities, and more. Australian-recognised Trade Certificate – Mechanical Fitter or Boilermaker Minimum 3 years’ experience in heavy industrial maintenance (fixed plant, crushing, screening, mobile plant, etc.) Strong fault-finding and mechanical repair skills Valid C-Class Driver’s Licence Construction White Card Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen Must have full Australian working rights Working at heights and confined space entry valid within 2 years Note: Experience in cement or concrete plants is not essential – we welcome applicants from mining, quarries, and other heavy industrial backgrounds.
