About the role As the Fabrication Manager, you’ll be hands-on while leading a large multi skilled team. Your mission is to drive performance, ensure adherence to processes, and inspire excellence in a high-paced fabrication environment. Duties Lead and manage a skilled team of fabricators, welders, painters, and auto electricians Roll up your sleeves when needed—this is a leadership role with hands-on involvement Maintain structure, discipline, and accountability within the team Interpret technical drawings and resolve build or fitment issues Ensure safety standards and PPE protocols are strictly followed Coordinate schedules, prioritize jobs, and manage material flow Conduct quality checks for weld integrity, tolerances, and final finishes Maintain and coordinate servicing of workshop equipment Support job tracking, timesheets, and production reporting Promote lean manufacturing and cost-saving initiatives Play a future role in driving new retail work opportunities Skills and experience Trade-qualified Boilermaker/Fabricator with hands-on experience Proven leadership in fabrication workshops Solid knowledge of MIG, FCAW, and fabrication techniques Skilled in reading drawings and ensuring industry compliance Clear communicator with team mentoring ability Competent in workshop admin and computer systems Strong focus on WHS, quality, and deadlines Benefits $100K base great commissions super (negotiable based on experience) Car allowance available for the right candidate Full-time, stable role with long-term career potential Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM schedule Optional Saturday work based on workload Supportive team environment with hands-on leadership Opportunity to make real impact in workshop operations and culture How to Apply If you are interested in joining a successful business for this fantastic full-time position, please send us your resume today.
