WE ARE HIRING YOUTH WORKERS About the Role: We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Youth Worker to join our team. In this role, you’ll engage with young people from diverse backgrounds, helping them build confidence, resilience, and life skills. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain positive, respectful relationships with young people Plan and deliver youth engagement programs, workshops, and activities Provide one-on-one support and mentoring Advocate for youth and help them navigate services such as education, housing, and mental health support Maintain accurate records and contribute to reporting and evaluation Work collaboratively with families, schools, community organisations, and other stakeholders Requirements: Tertiary qualification in Youth Work, Social Work, Psychology, or related field Experience working with young people in a community or outreach setting Current First Aid/CPR, Working with Children Check, valid driver’s license and Police Check Cultural competency and an understanding of issues facing diverse youth populations Desirable: Experience in trauma-informed practice, case management, or group facilitation Lived experience or strong connections with local communities About Us: Henderson Healthcare is a specialist consultancy that assists in matching skilled candidates to their perfect and desired job.
