The team is deeply embedded in Australia’s energy transition, with major mandates across utility-scale renewables, hydrogen, resources and public infrastructure. About the Role As Senior Associate, you will lead front-end legal work on complex construction and infrastructure matters. You’ll advise sponsors, developers and contractors on procurement strategies and negotiate key project delivery contracts, including EPC, D&C, FEED, connection and consultancy agreements. The role offers exposure to cross-border deals, high-profile clients and collaboration with specialists across energy, finance and international projects. You’ll be offered autonomy, clear progression opportunities and the chance to help shape some of the country’s most important projects. Key Responsibilities Draft and negotiate EPC, D&C, consultancy and grid connection agreements for major energy and infrastructure projects. Advise clients on procurement strategy, project structuring and contractual risk allocation across the full project lifecycle. Manage complex transactions involving multiple stakeholders, counterparties and jurisdictions. Collaborate with cross-practice teams including project finance, environment and corporate to deliver integrated legal solutions. Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives. Mentor and support junior lawyers within the team.
