We're looking for a passionate Lifestyle Officer to bring joy, connection, and purpose to the lives of our aged care residents through meaningful engagement and creative programs. About the Role: As a Lifestyle Officer, you'll play a vital role in enhancing residents’ wellbeing by planning and delivering a variety of recreational, cognitive, and social activities that reflect their individual preferences, needs, and capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Plan & Deliver Programs : Create inclusive group and one-on-one activities (e.g., art, music, games, exercise, gardening) to support physical, emotional, and cognitive wellbeing. Foster Resident Engagement : Build genuine relationships with residents, encouraging participation and tailoring activities to meet their interests—including those living with dementia. Document & Report : Record participation, feedback, and progress; collaborate with the care team to contribute to individual care plans. Coordinate Events : Organise special occasions, cultural celebrations, community visits, and outings. Ensure Safety & Compliance : Deliver programs that meet health, safety, and aged care standards; complete risk assessments when needed. Collaborate with the Team : Work closely with nurses, carers, allied health professionals, volunteers, and families to support holistic resident care. What You'll Bring: Certificate III or IV in Leisure and Health (or equivalent) Experience in aged care or community support preferred 2024/2025 Influenza Vaccination Record. Australian Police Check (or willingness to obtain). NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain). Full working rights in Australia ( no visa sponsorship available ).
