Are you a hands-on, hard-working individual with field exploration experience? SSH Mining is currently seeking a Field Assistants to support a gold exploration program in Wiluna . You'll be part of a close-knit team assisting geologists and drilling crews in a remote yet rewarding project. Key Responsibilities: Assist geologists with mapping, sampling, and general field duties Collect, label, and transport soil, rock, and drill core samples Maintain field equipment, sampling stations, and core trays Operate 4WD vehicles in remote terrain Ensure field and camp areas are kept clean and hazard-free Follow all safety, environmental, and operational protocols Support drilling operations (sample recovery, QC, etc.) Occasional data entry and geological database updates What We're Looking For: Prior experience as a Field Assistant in gold exploration Understanding of remote fieldwork and RC operations Physically fit and comfortable lifting 2.5kg bags regularly Proactive, team-focused attitude with strong communication skills Able to work autonomously in the field with minimal supervision Required Tickets & Qualifications: Manual C-Class Driver’s Licence (4WD experience preferred) National Police Clearance (within last 3 months) Able to pass a pre-employment medical & drug/alcohol screening First Aid Certificate (desirable)
