With a strong pipeline of construction projects throughout the Pilbara, Goldfields and Wheatbelt regions, they are known for disciplined delivery and a practical, boots-on-ground approach to clean energy infrastructure. Their team supports full EPC execution of solar farms and BESS projects, ranging from 20 MW to over 200 MW, with project scopes covering site prep, civil works, PV and BESS installation, HV substations, and grid commissioning. About the Role As Construction Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the full construction lifecycle of large-scale solar and battery projects. You’ll oversee all field operations, ensure subcontractor performance, maintain site safety and environmental standards, and coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, and commissioning teams to keep projects on track. You will have ownership of the site master schedule, construction budgets, and risk controls—ensuring projects are delivered in compliance with design specs, regulatory approvals, and quality standards. This is a site-facing, delivery-critical role for an experienced construction leader with strong renewable infrastructure experience and a proven ability to drive outcomes in remote WA conditions. Key Responsibilities Lead all construction activity across assigned renewable energy project sites Manage and coordinate subcontractors, plant, and labour across civil, mechanical, electrical and HV scopes Oversee construction scheduling, progress tracking, and budget adherence Drive safety culture and ensure compliance with WHS, environmental and regulatory obligations Interface with engineering, procurement, and commissioning teams to support cross-functional delivery Conduct site inspections, QA/QC audits, and manage NCRs or corrective actions as needed Coordinate daily construction reports, toolbox talks, and project updates Engage with local stakeholders, utilities, and landowners where required Report to the Project Director and provide regular updates to the executive delivery team Project & Technical Scope Projects: Utility-scale solar PV (20–250 MW) and co-located/standalone BESS Construction scope: civil works, MV/HV electrical, racking systems, module install, trenching, cable pulling, PCS and inverter installation Grid interface: Western Power, Horizon Power, and embedded network models Site locations: multiple active projects across regional WA Subcontractor coordination: civil, structural, electrical, fencing, and commissioning support Candidate Profile You are an experienced Construction Manager or Senior Site Manager with a strong track record of delivering renewable or power generation infrastructure in remote or regional environments. You combine on-site leadership with disciplined planning, safety, and commercial acumen. You’re confident managing subcontractors, resolving delivery challenges, and maintaining schedule control across complex, fast-moving projects.
