Job Description: Excellent benefits including salary packaging Challenging and rewarding work environment 2 month fixed-term appointment Part time (8 hours per week) About the Role This 12-month fixed-term role will support the Dyne DM1 clinical trial by delivering physiotherapy assessments and interventions for patients with Myotonic Dystrophy Type 1. The position sits within a multidisciplinary team focused on high-quality patient care and will involve both direct assessments and collaboration with neuromuscular physiotherapy specialists. Deliver high-quality, evidence-based assessment and clinical management to patients in the Dyne DM1 trial. Collaborate with medical and allied health staff to provide coordinated patient care, escalating or referring as needed. Ensure accurate documentation, equipment maintenance, and compliance with SVHM policies and procedures. Actively participate in ongoing professional development and review of literature related to myotonic dystrophy. Support team operations by contributing to meetings, maintaining statistics, and assisting other trial staff as required. Classifications for this position will range from VB7 - VC1 ($104,135 - $118,981 per annum pro rata) Your Contribution Current AHPRA registration and a recognised degree in Physiotherapy. Minimum of seven years’ post-graduate experience with extensive knowledge in neuromuscular physiotherapy. Proven leadership and multidisciplinary team collaboration skills, with strong written and verbal communication. Experience in research, service development, and commitment to continuous quality improvement and education.
