Our Gold Coast Hospital is now open and we're keen to welcome Emergency and Critical Care Nurses to join our gold class facility, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with Dr Patricia Rosenstein and her experienced team of emergency vets. This team is offering full-time, permanent positions, with part-time considered for the right person. Our emergency team operates 24 hours, 7 days and so availability to work a variety of shifts is required. A keen interest in Emergency and critical care and a desire to work closely with our patients throughout their entire SASH journey. An ability to remain calm under pressure, while maintaining effective decision-making skills. Be able to confidently and effectively triage patients. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Experience in anaesthesia and ventilation. Confidence working in a busy environment with competing demands To be considered for this position, applicants must have: Completed a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. A minimum of 2 years, full-time experience as a qualified nurse. Previous experience in Emergency / ICU would be highly regarded but is not essential.
