The Senior Medical Officer is responsible for the provision of expert, best practice, contemporary medical advice and clinical leadership of the organisation. This requires the provision of strategic clinical and clinical governance leadership to the organisation and the provision of senior advisory services to the Wurli Board of Directors, CEO and other PHC leaders within the organisation. Is this the right role for you? Minimum 10 years broad clinical experience Fully registered as a medical practitioner with AHPRA - General and Specialist Demonstrated experience in senior advisory role Solid understanding of clinical governance and service performance evaluation Demonstrated knowledge of Australian healthcare standards and legislative frameworks Ideally, have accreditation as a GP registrar supervisor NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
