ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking talented undergraduate or post-graduate students
who have a genuine interest in becoming a patent attorney to
undertake an internship with our Mechanical Engineering team in
Melbourne.
The DCC Patent Internship Program provides hands on work
experience at a leading IP firm. You will have the opportunity to
work alongside world leading patent attorneys contributing to
patent drafting, filing, prosecution, IP portfolio management,
oppositions and litigation.
Our 2025-2026 internship program will run from November 2025 to
February 2026 (excluding the Christmas and New Year period). Each
internship lasts 3 weeks, with start and end dates tailored to
successful candidates' availability.

ABOUT YOU
Qualifications
- Completed 3-4 years of an undergraduate or postgraduate
degree in:
- mechanical engineering
- mechatronics
- aeronautical engineering
- biomedical engineering
- science with a specialisation in Physics
- a related field
Skills Required

skills.
