We are currently looking to employ an Upholsterer to join our Rutherford team manufacturing Thermal Blankets as per drawings on a full time basis. Our workshop generally runs between 6am to 6pm. Overtime and weekend work is available at the discretion of the Branch Manager. The role: Sew heat blankets together using industrial sewing machines according to Mammoth Equipment's specifications and quality standards. Accurately measure and cut fabric pieces for assembly, ensuring precise dimensions. Perform quality checks to verify that heat blankets meet established criteria for durability, strength, and performance. Collaborate with the production team to meet manufacturing deadlines and prioritize workload to maximize efficiency. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and inventory control of sewing materials and equipment. Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or fabric defects to the supervisor. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
