As a Guidewire Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering enterprise-grade insurance solutions using the Guidewire platform. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership position where your deep technical expertise and architectural vision will directly influence the success of complex transformation programs in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain. You will be responsible for defining the end-to-end architecture for Guidewire applications-PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter-across configuration, integration, migration, and reporting streams. Your role will involve close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional architects to ensure scalable, maintainable, and high-performing solutions. Key Focus Areas: - Solution Architecture & Strategy : Define and own the architectural blueprint for Guidewire implementations, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and business goals. - Technical Leadership : Lead the technical delivery lifecycle from discovery through deployment, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management. - Integration Design : Analyze and design robust integration patterns using Integration Gateway , REST APIs, and third-party systems. - Advanced Product Design (APD) : Leverage APD to create flexible, reusable product models that support rapid business innovation. - Mentorship & Governance : Guide and mentor tech leads and developers, enforce coding standards, and drive continuous improvement through code reviews and architectural best practices. - Migration & Reporting : Provide strategic input and hands-on support for data migration mapping and reporting frameworks. - Collaboration & Communication : Act as a key liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring clear understanding of requirements and timely resolution of issues. To be successful in this role your experience should include: - Prior experience with Guidewire COTS product implementations. - Proficient across PolicyCenter (PC), BillingCenter (BC), and ClaimCenter (CC) - configuration, integration, migration, and reporting. - ACE-certified in multiple Guidewire Centers. - Expert in GWCP, Advanced Product Design (APD), and Integration Gateway. - Strong domain knowledge in Insurance.
