We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and reliable Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our Glass Products Operations team at our Campbellfield facility. The Role As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you’ll support and maintain site machinery and systems, troubleshoot electrical and automation issues, and help optimise equipment reliability. Working with internal teams and OEM suppliers, you’ll ensure the integrity of our industrial electrical and control systems. Key Responsibilities: Provide daily electrical support and troubleshoot machinery issues across the site. Collaborate with maintenance teams and OEM suppliers to resolve faults and improve system performance. Drive best practices in electrical maintenance, including PM tasks, backups, and critical spares. Maintain documentation, develop SOPs, and manage task history for strategic improvements. Utilise CMMS (MEX) to manage preventative maintenance and support operational reliability. About You A-Grade Electrical Licence (essential); tertiary qualifications in automation or related fields (desirable). Strong troubleshooting skills with experience diagnosing complex machinery faults in manufacturing. Proficient in industrial control systems (e.g. Beckhoff, Siemens) and communication protocols (Ethercat, TCP/IP, etc.). Familiarity with IT network infrastructure, process control standards, and reading technical manuals/drawings. Experience using CMMS systems for maintenance planning and reporting (e.g. MEX). Comfortable working with remote teams, OEM suppliers, and contractors via phone and email.
