SASH Central Coast is now seeking a Team Leader to join the Medicine team, who will be responsible for actively managing the effective and efficient day-to-day running of the medicine department whilst providing leadership in the delivery of best practice clinical standards and service delivery. Facilitate training programs, coaching and mentorships for both team and individual development Team Support & Cohesion - Create a reliable and encouraging environment, boosting morale and motivation ensuring the team is cohesive in nature to enable efficiency and gold standard patient care. Oversee Patient Care Standards – Ensure all patients receive the highest level of care and attention. Proactivity lead and promote new innovations for the team aiming to be at the forefront of medical procedures & patient care. Manage Nursing Operations – Oversee daily workflow, staffing, hospital protocols, adherence to hygiene policies and SASH regulations, and regular team meetings are scheduled to encourage collaboration. Collaborate with Internal Teams – Work closely with vets and allied health professionals to enhance patient outcomes, facilitating team collaboration & meetings to ensure communication is paramount between the nursing & veterinary team. Leadership Experience – Proven ability to manage, mentor, and support a veterinary team in a previous role Strong Communication Skills – Clear written and verbal interactions with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders. Time Management – Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities professionally.
