The Role As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting the strategic and commercial goals of the business. Leading a team of 1–2 analysts, you’ll be responsible for delivering financial insights, performance analysis, and high-impact business support. Your responsibilities will include: Acting as a trusted advisor to business units, delivering financial analysis and insights to drive strategic decisions Presenting financial results to senior leadership, offering recommendations and commentary Leading the end-to-end budgeting and forecasting process (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) Supporting board and committee reporting, as well as key external stakeholder reports (e.g. shareholders, rating agencies) Managing legal entity reporting including transfer pricing and reconciliation Enhancing FP&A systems and processes, with a focus on reporting automation and self-service through tools like PowerBI Delivering ad hoc financial modelling and valuation support for strategic initiatives The Candidate Experience : CA/CPA (or equivalent) with strong business partnering, FP&A, or commercial finance experience. Insurance industry knowledge and familiarity with AASB 17 are essential. Leadership : Demonstrated experience leading teams and influencing senior stakeholders. Technical Skills : Strong financial modelling, analysis, and reporting capabilities with advanced Excel and PowerBI experience. Personal Attributes : Commercially savvy, driven, confident in stakeholder engagement, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
