The Geelong Regional Library Corporation (GRLC) is seeking a dynamic Branch Librarian to lead one of our vibrant community libraries. In this pivotal role, you will manage daily operations, support a passionate team, and activate the library space for community learning, connection, and inspiration. What you’ll do: Deliver library services, programs, and events that meet the diverse needs of your community Supervise and support a small team, fostering capability and collaboration Manage collections, rosters, and the day-to-day running of the library Build strong local partnerships and conduct targeted outreach Ensure your library remains welcoming, inclusive, and forward-thinking What you’ll bring: A degree or diploma in a relevant field, or experience managing library services Strong leadership and team development skills Excellent communication and community engagement abilities A passion for public libraries and a community-first approach Tech-savvy with experience in library systems and digital resources A current Victorian Driver’s Licence WWCC (Employee) & recent Police Check required Who we are: GRLC delivers inclusive, innovative and accessible library services across 5 local government areas.
