Job Description Reporting to the Procurement Coordinator, you will be responsible for varied tasks across the Procurement portfolio with the opportunity to make the role your own and be challenged at every level. About the Role Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders Identify, quantify and manage risks and opportunities across all areas of responsibility Maintain knowledge of and comply with all company policies, procedures, applicable laws, regulations and statutory obligations Identify continuous improvement opportunities within the procurement processes, and cost-savings that can be made across site. Reduce the commercial and contractual risks of procurement and contracting Develop and issue expressions of interests and requests for tenders Coordinate and document end of month procurement procedures and present results Negotiate and/or facilitate negotiation and prepare appropriately drafted contracts for execution and implementation. Roster and Location Monday to Friday professional roster Based on site at HVO (off Lemington Road) About You To be considered for this role, you must have excellent knowledge of procurement practices and previous experience in a procurement role. The successful candidate will have: A tertiary qualification in Procurement, Business, Law, Engineering or Finance (or similar) Proven experience executing tenders, negotiating Contract departures, formulating Contract documents for execution Have the ability to manage end to end procurement processes and provide procurement and contract support including tenders and contract execution Have a high attention to detail and effective time management practices Have a proven analytical skillset SAP and ERP Knowledge preferred Excellent planning and organisation Excellent MS Office product skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Current Australian Drivers licence Open Cut Coal Mining experience (desirable but not essential) High-calibre interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, couple with strong problem solving and analytical ability Working for us isn’t like working at any old mine.
