The Opportunity Be a catalyst for quality, risk and compliance excellence at See Differently – Royal Society for the Blind. We’re seeking a passionate and strategic leader to join our team as Quality, Risk & Compliance (QRC) Lead. Reporting directly to the Executive Director and working closely with our Board Audit & Risk Committee, this role is central to embedding a culture of continuous improvement, service excellence, and proactive risk management across the organisation. Key Responsibilities: Champion organisational compliance across NDIS, Aged Care, Assistive Technology, Guide Dogs, Manufacturing, and Corporate services Lead the implementation of our Risk Management Framework and internal Quality Management System (QMS). Oversee incident, complaint, audit, and accreditation processes. Advise executive leaders on emerging risks, governance obligations, and compliance strategies. Engage with regulators and funders to ensure high standards of service quality and safety. Foster a culture of risk awareness, transparency, and accountability. Your Skills and Expertise: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Risk, Quality, Governance, Law, or Health. Extensive senior experience in compliance, quality, or risk roles within regulated sectors. Strong working knowledge of frameworks such as NDIS Practice Standards, Aged Care Quality Standards, HACCP, ISO9001, and relevant legislation. Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and promote cultural change. Desirable: Accreditation auditing experience. Exposure to both health and manufacturing/packaging environments. Experience in policy development, systems implementation, and Board-level reporting.
