About the Role This position sits within the Training Accreditation Services (TAS) team, which oversees accreditation for training programs across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. TAS is responsible for managing and supporting the accreditation of training settings and the RACP training programs they deliver. This entails provision of advice, operational support and reporting to a range of involved internal and external stakeholders, as well as ongoing evaluation, development and improvement, and change initiatives. The purpose of this role is to lead a small team within TAS to plan and deliver strategic, administrative and operational support for RACP accreditation programs, in compliance with policies, procedures and other strategic and regulatory directives. This includes extensive stakeholder engagement and committee management, and providing input and support for projects and initiatives that are owned by and/or impact TAS. Key accountabilities include: Manage allocated accreditation portfolio, including scheduling and conducting of accreditation activities and ongoing monitoring and active management activities in compliance with policies, procedures and other strategic and regulatory directives Provide day to day leadership and management of a team to ensure efficient and effective team and individual performance Provide expert advice on RACP accreditation criteria, standards, requirements, policies, and processes to stakeholders to resolve questions and issues, maintain compliance, and promote awareness. Manage day to day stakeholder engagement and support activities to maintain good stakeholder relationships and uphold a high standard of service delivery Plan and coordinate committee support and management activities to ensure they function effectively, make robust and compliant decisions, and achieve deliverables within required timeframes. Undertake quality control activities to maintain accurate records and minimise errors in team outputs and reporting. Identify and manage risks appropriately, and escalate issues as required. Professionally represent the TAS business unit and College, as required Contribute to projects and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accreditation and other College functions Desired Skills and Experience About You The successful candidate will have: Experience leading and managing a team to direct work and deliver outcomes in a complex environment and within tight timeframes Stakeholder management experience, including ability to develop effective working relationships, and to negotiate and influence outcomes Organisation and time management skills, including the ability to prioritise and manage changing priorities in a high workload area to achieve set work objectives on schedule Strong written and verbal communication skills, including demonstrated experience and attention to detail in the development and review of agendas, briefs, minutes, letters, reports, policy/process documentation, and presentations Demonstrated ability and confidence to deliver presentations and to professionally represent a team, business unit, or organisation in meetings and at events Proven problem solving and analytical skills Commitment to quality assurance and continuous improvement, including ability to develop, implement, evaluate and improve policy and procedure documents and templates Ability to work flexibly and demonstrate initiative and resilience in a changing environment Willingness and ability to travel within Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand, if required Interested?
