We are seeking an Accountant to oversee financial reporting, compliance, and consolidation for a leading organisation in the industrial/manufacturing sector. This permanent role, offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the company's Accounting & Finance department. Client Details Our client is a well-established, medium-sized organisation operating in the industrial/manufacturing sector. Description Prepare and consolidate financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards. Ensure compliance with statutory reporting and regulatory requirements. Analyse financial data to provide insights and support decision-making processes. Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audit processes. Streamline financial processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. Provide support and guidance to finance team members as needed. Profile A successful Group Accountant should have: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Professional qualifications such as CPA or CA (or working towards them). Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and principles. Proficiency in financial consolidation and reporting processes. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems.
