We specialise in installation of marble, granite and travertine products in NSW with more than 14 years experience in the building industry. We are currently seeking an experienced and well-rounded Construction Project Manager to join our team. This hands-on position is suitable for an energetic, positive and enthusiastic person looking for challenging and rewarding position in the building industry. You must possess a “can do attitude” and the ability to work in a team environment. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for: Interpreting architectural drawings and specifications; Coordinating labour resources, and procurement and delivery of materials, plant and equipment; Consulting with architects, engineering professionals and other professionals, and technical and trades workers; Negotiating with building owners, property developers and subcontractors involved in the construction process to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget; Preparing tenders and contract bids; Operating and implementing coordinated work programs for sites; Ensuring adherence to building legislation and standards of performance, quality, cost and safety; Arranging submission of plans to local authorities; Building under contract, or subcontracting specialised building services; Overseeing the standard and progress of subcontractors' work; Arranging building inspections by local authorities. To be considered for this role you need to be able to demonstrate the following: A bachelor degree or higher qualification in Project Management or Commercial Management; At least 2 years work experience as a Construction Project Manager performing the above job duties and functions in a similar environment; Experience in planning, organising, directing, controlling and coordinating the construction of civil engineering, building and dwelling projects, and the physical and human resources involved in building and construction process.
