The Health, Safety and Environment Lead for TAM will provide subject matter expertise to the Honeywell Building Solutions Business across the Southern Region and be the key point of contact within the allocated district. Reporting to the Pacific HSE Director, the role will assist TAM Leaders in delivering the HSE Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and drive the Organisational safety culture KEY AREAS OF REPONSIBILITY - In collaboration with TAM business leaders and employees, facilitate an HSE culture that values and promotes a safe working environment by enhancing the HSE knowledge, skills and engagement of employees, contractors, and sub-contractors. - Develop & deploy in partnership with the HBT HSE teams subject matter experts, the TAM strategy for HSE, Business Continuity and Sustainability. - Support a resiliency program across the district and align improvements with the global HBA HSE plan - Proactively lead HSE elements for all TAM operational activities, particularly Footscray, Frankston and Melton Hospital portfolios. - Participate with management teams in the development and implementation of strategic health, safety and environmental annual plans, including actions required to maintain HSE Certification to ISO9001, ISO45001 and ISO 14001. - Develop and maintain a Management Operating System (MOS) inclusive of schedules of planned workplace, site observations, formal site inspections, HSE site audits and risk assessments in collaboration with "risk control owners" and involving management, leaders, and operational staff to analyze risks and to identify risk levels and risk acceptability. - HSE oversight of all TAM employees and contractors for Field Works and HSE Management Systems for the district, particularly across the health portfolio - Completing timely HSE Management system verifications and self-assessments ensuring continued growth of management system deployment and maturity. - Facilitate the deployment of the strategic plan (STRAP) & the annual operating plan (AOP) for HSE performance across the TAM Portfolio, including use of tools such as the X-Matrix, A3 plans & lean principles. - Conduct the structured investigation and analysis of incidents (including significant and other reportable incidents), the identification of system causes, and the development of evidence-based recommendations, to improve systems and prevent incident recurrence, and to meet the reporting requirements of safety regulators. - Assist in resolving potential non-compliance, enforcement actions or litigation regarding HSE matters within TAM QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE - High level of coordination experience and working within complex environments is preferred, with excellent communications skills and the ability to work as part of a team essential. - Travel 15-30% - Criminal history Clearance (with ability to obtain related clearance and access to high security location such as Military and Prison sites) - Diploma HSE minimum where no HSE degree is held. - CAM Lead Investigator Qualifications - Internal Auditor Qualifications - Minimum 5 years' experience in driving and deploying HSE in a construction, maintenance, Facilities management, oil & gas, or mining operations environment. Professional Skills / Knowledge - Knowledgeable in HSE compliance, emerging regulations, and trends - Experience with ISO Certifications. - Auditor qualifications - Strong influencing skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. - Cert IV TAE - Training & Assessment desirable - Proficient in general computer software use - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Integrated HSE Management Systems Please note: This role may be subject to ongoing criminal history checks, random drug & alcohol testing and / or medical examinations in line with Honeywell, customer and statutory specifications and it is a requirement of the role to satisfy these requirements.
