We are recruiting a sous chef / front of house supervisor to join our team. The candidate will need to assist the head chef in planning, supervising, and managing workflow and production two or three days per week and supervise front of house on the other two or three days. As a key member of the team your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Duties & responsibilities: Kitchen Duties (Sat, Sun) General kitchen / food prep / baking. Deliver high quality food that is prepared well to the correct recipe and quantity. Keep section and kitchen clean and organised. Be reliable, organised, with good understanding of work structure and flow. Report to the Head Chef Work well as part of a team creating new recipes. Front of House Duties (Midweek) Greeting & serving customers. Making of coffee, tea & shakes. Supervising staff members. Keeping front of house clean. Calm demeanour and super friendly. Experience & required skills Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a similar café / restaurant or allrounder role. Proven ability to deliver high quality food, with a passion for your craft. Personable and able to communicate clearly with both staff, management & customers. Strong leadership skills. Food safely knowledge.
