AWE RES is currently recruiting qualified & experienced Underground Heavy Diesel Fitters for 8/6/7/7 FIFO roster opportunities in QLD & NSW. In this role, you will be responsible for maintenance activities on a range of hard rock underground mine equipment, specifically Sandvik. About you: Relevant experience in a similar role within the hard rock underground mining industry A demonstrated commitment to safety and ability to work effectively in a team Previous experience maintaining Sandvik drills - specifically DD421, D422i, DL421 along with Sandvik trucks and boggers Relevant qualifications & tickets In addition to the above, you will have a genuine commitment to safety and demonstrate a sound understanding of risk and hazard identification. You will be an exceptional team member with a flexible attitude and sound work ethic. The lifestyle: This position is offered on a 8/6/7/7 day/night roster and allows for a FIFO (Brisbane or Townsville) lifestyle.
