Position Overview:As a Graduate Data Analyst, you will work closely with our experienced data professionals to analyse complex datasets, generate actionable insights, and support data-driven decision-making across multiple clients. Key Responsibilities:Collect, clean, and analyse data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.Assist in the development and maintenance of dashboards and reportsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.Interact with clients, gather requirements, and build client relationshipsConduct ad-hoc data analysis and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.Support the implementation of data-driven strategies and initiatives.Continuously improve data quality and integrity by identifying and addressing data discrepancies.Automate manual processes with cutting edge technologiesBuild and develop prototype analytics toolsWork with and assist with development on our proprietary EdgePreso software Qualifications and Required Skills:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or another field with a significant quantitative component.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to code – any coding language is fine.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and a passion for data. Nice To Have:Data analyst, developer, or consulting experienceProficiency in specific data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R)Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Looker, Google Looker Studio, Metabase).JavaScript skills.Machine learning and AI skills.Understanding of NLP techniques and libraries such as NLTK, SpaCy, GPT, Hugging Face Transformers for developing and deploying language based applicationsAustralian citizen or permanent resident.
