About The Role This role delivers high quality, evidence based, discipline specific clinical services and leadership as a member of a multidisciplinary, community adult mental health team supporting consumers, their carers, and relevant stakeholders with clinical care and therapeutic interventions aiding in recovery and rehabilitation. About You Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following: High level knowledge, expertise and skills in managing an allocated workload to deliver discipline specific services, including assessment, intervention and evaluation within a multidisciplinary team in accordance with established clinical & departmental protocols, policies and procedures, utilising evidence-based practice and ethical standards.Ability to liaise and work effectively in a professional manner with clients and their carers, other health professionals, students, and external agencies to achieve a client centred approach, utilising negotiation, and conflict resolution skills as required.Ability to provide high level general and profession specific clinical advice to clinical leaders, team leaders and other multidisciplinary team members within the service, and to external community-based providers supporting consumer care.Ability to continually develop clinical practice knowledge, skills and expertise through self-directed learning, active learning within a team environment and engaging in professional development activities, including participating in the performance appraisal and development plans.Experience in the identification, development, implementation and evaluation of quality and service improvement and/or research activities that enhance the delivery of discipline specific services. Mandatory Requirements Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association within Australia. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.For Psychologists: Eligibility for full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia is required. The possession of an Australian Psychological Society (APS) accredited postgraduate qualification in clinical psychology and/or an endorsement in clinical psychology would be highly considered.For Social Workers: The possession of a tertiary degree in Social Work providing eligibility for membership to the Australian Association of Social Workers is required.For Occupational Therapists: The possession of a tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy and eligibility for current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia is required.Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16 About West Moreton Health West Moreton Health is one of the most rapidly evolving health services in the south east corner, with a community growth expected to almost double to more than 588,000 by 2036.
