Lanson Partners is currently partnering with a commercial services business for an exciting Finance Transformation – System Implementation role based in Northmead. This is a great opportunity for a systems-savvy accountant to join a business mid-transformation as they shift their finance operations to Xero. The role is executional, with a strong focus on data migration and workflow improvements, sitting at the intersection of finance and systems. Reporting to the Financial Controller, your main responsibilities will be: Supporting the migration of financial data and reporting structures into Xero Running Xero and WUN systems in parallel to ensure accurate alignment before full transition Uploading and formatting flat files and ensuring data integrity Executing high-quality financial reporting outputs using strong Excel skills Navigating large volumes of data to support automation and workflow improvement Applying sound accounting knowledge, especially around trial balances and ledgers Collaborating with HR and other internal teams for smooth system integration Delivering hands-on support in a transformation environment with minimal oversight Requirements: Proven experience using Xero Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, including TB and general ledgers Strong Excel capability, with experience in data manipulation and migration Ability to work in a fast-paced, change-heavy environment Previous experience in finance operations and/or system implementation projects A detail-oriented and hands-on attitude this is a ‘roll up your sleeves’ kind of role No direct reports; must be comfortable working autonomously in an execution-focused position Join a growing business in the middle of an exciting transformation journey. while enjoying flexibility to work from home.
