We’re seeking a motivated and experienced Workshop Controller to join a well-established, multi-franchise service centre located in the Sutherland shire. This full-time, Monday-to-Friday position offers an excellent opportunity to lead a busy workshop team and make a real impact in a fast-paced service environment. In this key leadership role, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of a multi-brand workshop, managing workflow, ensuring high standards of workmanship, and supporting a team of technicians and apprentices. You’ll be hands-on in guiding staff, supporting diagnostics, and working closely with service advisors to maintain outstanding customer service and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities Manage workshop scheduling and workflow to meet delivery deadlines Lead and motivate a team to achieve quality, efficiency, and productivity targets Support technicians with diagnostics and technical issues Monitor work quality and ensure brand and safety compliance Conduct Toolbox Talks and coordinate training initiatives Collaborate with service advisors to deliver excellent customer experiences Ensure warranty procedures and WHS policies are followed Drive profitability and performance in the service department Ideal Candidate Experience as a Workshop Controller or Service Supervisor Qualified automotive technician Strong leadership and mentoring skills Excellent communication and problem-solving ability ERA NET / ERA POWER experience and electronic job scheduling essential Exposure to multiple vehicle brands (preferred but not required) NSW Driver’s Licence You’ll enjoy a supportive work environment within a family-run dealership, a competitive salary package, comprised of a good retainer comms, and the stability of a Monday-to-Friday schedule.
