About You You should ideally be an empathetic person who: Enjoys working with the elderly. Can work independently and as part of a team. Is reliable, punctual, and trustworthy. Has availability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts over weekdays and weekends. Has good communication skills and interpersonal skills. With cleaning, you will need to have: Prior cleaning experience in a health care setting. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Knowledge of infection control principles and commercial cleaning operations, including the safe use of chemicals. Knowledge and prior experience in relation to laundry services(desirable). Good communication skills. Have full Australian working rights and able to pass a national police clearance. Key Responsibilities: Perform daily cleaning tasks in client rooms, common areas, and bathrooms Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in all areas, including floors, windows, and furniture Ensure that cleaning supplies are stocked and well-maintained Assist with laundry services as needed Follow strict hygiene and safety protocols Report any maintenance issues or damage promptly to management Collaborate with other team members to ensure the best care for our clients Aegis Provides Paid orientation program.
