About the opportunity: In this autonomous role, you will be on the road 4 days a week visiting customers in their homes coordinating trades and carry out defect rectification work on our homes in line with our contractual requirements and standards. More specifically, your responsibilities will include: •Conducting inspections of new homes located across Sydney •Compiling a report on any identified defects •Communicating with clients to propose actions according to Service and Warranty guidelines •Assisting with the monitoring of contractor progress •Following up outstanding works from our trades and contractors as needed •Attending to works as identified by the Handover Supervisor •Ensuring that all general maintenance as per the defect list is completed to the highest quality •Performing some minor maintenance including painting and plastering About you: To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the purpose and core values of NEX Building Group along with: •An ability to communicate with clients and various teams to provide information and updates on maintenance works •A trade background ideally but this is not essential if you possess a service orientated approach, attention to detail and a “DIY handyperson” •An ability to prioritise effectively whilst ensuring exceptional attention to detail •A full driver’s licence to operate a service van •Willingness to travel to and from jobs as scheduled •A positive attitude with the ability to work by yourself or within a team We are keen to improve female (and other marginalised groups) representation in our workplaces.
