The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in OSS, telecom, Java or Python, and a background in L2/L3 networking solutions. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining solutions using Cisco Network Services Orchestrator (NSO) while supporting software development initiatives in a collaborative, Agile environment. Key Responsibilities NSO Development: Utilize Cisco NSO for developing and orchestrating network services with a focus on L2/L3 protocols and Datacom networks in real-time operator environments. Software Development: Design and develop high-quality applications using Java or Python, adhering to industry standards and customer-centric approaches. SDN & YANG Modeling: Apply strong knowledge of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) principles and YANG data modeling to optimize network orchestration. Telecom Solutions: Implement and maintain networking solutions focused on OSS and telecom requirements. Business Process Automation (BPA): Leverage Cisco BPA to automate workflows and enhance operational efficiency. CI/CD Pipeline: Collaborate on Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment processes to ensure timely and efficient delivery of updates and new features. Agile Collaboration: Work closely with the Scrum Master to ensure project milestones are met, and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Technical Support: Provide timely responses to technical queries from team members and customers, ensuring the smooth operation of the development environment. Mentorship: Guide, coach, and mentor junior developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture. Key Skills and Qualifications Technical Expertise: Proficiency in OSS, telecom solutions, and SDN technologies, with a deep understanding of L2/L3 networking solutions. Programming Languages: Strong skills in Java and/or Python, with proven experience in designing and developing software applications. Cisco NSO & BPA: Hands-on experience with Cisco Network Services Orchestrator (NSO) development and Business Process Automation (BPA) workflows. Data Modeling: Proficient in YANG data modeling and its applications in SDN. Agile Methodology: Solid understanding of Agile principles, with experience working in Agile development teams. Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills, with experience working in an Offshore/Onsite model, able to communicate effectively across teams. CI/CD Processes: Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices and tools. Preferred Experience Experience in telecom and network automation solutions. Exposure to real-time Datacom networks and understanding of L2/L3 protocols. Proven ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
