The Role As a Controller Maintenance you will be the primary communication point between Mine Control and the Mobile Maintenance team. You will lead the safe and successful coordination of maintenance activities through organising resources and machines, monitoring and gathering data and managing heavy mobile equipment movements as per maintenance schedule. About you You will have extensive mechanical experience within a mobile equipment environment. An understanding of maintenance work management practices, experience with maintenance planning and managing maintenance works utilising a CMMS will be key to your success in this role. Well-developed interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate at all levels are needed for your success in this role. Ideally you will have prior experience coordinating maintenance activities in a large-scale open pit autonomous mine and working knowledge of SAP and MineStar. Key Accountabilities Lead all aspects of the execution and optimisation of the maintenance plan through utilisation of information to advise and ensure the maintenance team execute the plan in the most effective and efficient manner. Work directly with the Mine Control Team for all HME issues including coordination of unscheduled repairs in the Autonomous Operating Zone. Operate as the key interface between maintenance planning and the mine maintenance team integrating planning activities with the overall mine plan to meet short and long term planning and productivity goals. Monitor live heavy mobile equipment health data, record all heavy mobile equipment downtime events and provide detailed descriptions of repairs conducted. Liaise with Mine Maintenance Supervisors to prioritise scheduled and unscheduled repairs based on operational requirements, and investigate causes of maintenance delays or noncompliance to plan. Liaise with Mine Control team to ensure priorities align and communicate with team when machines are ready to be returned to work. Actively participate and assist with Quality Audits, implement amendments to Quality Assurance documents and ensure that all work is documented and complies with Quality Assurance procedures. Contribute to the organisational culture through performing work duties and interacting with others using Newmont's Values as the basis for your decision making.
