About the Role: As a key member of the team, you will play an important role in maintaining and enhancing the course presentation, playability, and turf health of our renowned facility. Reporting to the Course Superintendent, your experience, eye for detail, and strong work ethic will contribute to maintaining the high standards expected at Royal Hobart. Key Responsibilities: • Undertake all aspects of golf course maintenance including mowing, bunker upkeep, and course set-up • Operate and maintain a range of turf equipment and machinery • Assist with irrigation operation, repairs, and turf renovation programs • Apply turf chemicals and fertilisers as required • Work effectively within a team environment and follow OHS procedures Essential Criteria: • Certificate III in Sports Turf Management (or equivalent trade qualification) • Minimum 2 years experience in turf maintenance or a related field • Strong machinery operation and maintenance skills • Sound understanding of golf course standards and presentation • Punctual, reliable, and able to work early mornings and some weekends • Current driver’s licence Desirable: • ChemCert accreditation • Irrigation system knowledge • Understanding of the game of golf What We Offer: • A supportive and professional team environment • Opportunities for continued learning and career development • Work on a prestigious golf course with high maintenance standards • Competitive remuneration based on experience and qualifications How to Apply: Please send your resume and a short cover letter outlining your experience to: rhgc.com.au Applications close: 25th July 2025
