We are seeking an experienced Rope Access Coordinator to lead and manage rope access activities across brownfield and maintenance projects in Portland. The Role This is a hands-on leadership role coordinating rope access works across multiple disciplines including mechanical, structural, and electrical scopes. The successful candidate will hold at least one trade qualification and have proven experience managing rope access operations in complex, high-risk industrial environments. A current or former IRATA Level 3 accreditation is essential for this role. IRATA Level 3 (current or previously held within the last 3 years) – mandatory Trade Certificate in Mechanical, Fabrication, Electrical, or related field Proven experience coordinating rope access works in heavy industrial or brownfield environments Multi-discipline background (e.g. mechanical, structural, electrical) with at least one trade qualification Strong leadership skills and ability to manage and mentor rope access crews Demonstrated understanding of rope access regulations, rescue planning, and equipment management Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and ability to work collaboratively with wider project and site team Demonstrated strong commitment to safety. Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and oral. High-Risk Licences (e.g. WAH, Confined Space, EWP – desirable) Rope rescue, first aid, or HSE training (advantageous) Applicants must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for this role.
