Job Description We’re seeking a Senior Java Engineer to join our growing engineering team focused on building secure, scalable, and high-performance API and integration solutions for a Greenfield Data project. You will build powerful integration solutions for our Data Office that connect core systems, power customer insights, and protect our data. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting robust APIs using Spring Boot, following established patterns and best practices. Your work will involve writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, contributing to code reviews, and actively participating in technical discussions to ensure high-quality outcomes. You will help evolve our continuous integration and deployment pipelines, ensuring that solutions are scalable and automated across multiple environments. A critical part of your role will be conducting routine security assessments, including vulnerability scans and penetration testing, to maintain the integrity of our systems. You’ll implement advanced data protection controls using HashiCorp Vault and related tooling, ensuring all solutions meet internal security and compliance standards such as PCI, DSS, and GDPR. In addition, you will collaborate with senior engineers to shape API design and deliver integration strategies that align with business needs. You’ll provide technical support, troubleshoot and resolve integration challenges, and contribute to the development of best practices around data loss prevention (DLP) and tokenization. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll help identify secure data management requirements and ensure our integration solutions are both effective and compliant.
