Our client, a leading healthcare organisation based in Sydney, is seeking a Mid-Level Cloud Engineer for an initial 6-month contract. This role will play a key part in supporting the build and deployment of secure, scalable infrastructure across their AWS environment. Key Responsibilities: Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of cloud-native infrastructure using AWS and Terraform Support cloud networking and ensure secure connectivity across hybrid environments Work with serverless technologies (e.g. Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge) to build scalable services Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to implement best practices around IaC, security, and automation Monitor cloud systems and troubleshoot issues in production and staging environments What We're Looking For: Strong hands-on experience with AWS (VPC, IAM, Lambda, ECS/Fargate, CloudWatch) Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform Solid understanding of cloud networking (VPC, subnets, routing, security groups, etc.) Experience working with serverless technologies in a production environment Strong communication and team collaboration skills Nice to Have: Experience in healthcare, MedTech or regulated environments Familiarity with CI/CD tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions, CodePipeline) Exposure to containerisation (Docker, ECS, or EKS)
