The Role Agri Labour Australia is currently seeking a skilled Trash Truck operator to join a cotton ginning facility in Beardmore, Qld. This role is responsible for safely operating machinery to collect and remove cotton waste (trash) generated during the ginning process. This role ensures the gin yard and work areas remain clean, safe, and free of buildup that could interfere with production or pose a hazard. What You'll Do: Operate the trash truck to collect, transport, and dump cotton trash and debris from the ginning operation. Regularly empty trash trailers or bins from various points across the gin site. Maintain cleanliness around the gin yard, trash bays, and dumping areas. Perform routine pre-start and safety checks on the trash truck and report any issues immediately. Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and traffic management rules. Assist with general site cleanup duties during downtime. Communicate with gin crew and supervisors to coordinate collection and dumping schedules efficiently. Follow directions from supervisors and complete tasks in a timely and safe manner.
