We're on the hunt for a passionate and hands-on Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our dynamic food and beverage offerings at the WACA Ground. Working closely with the Food & Beverage Manager, you'll be at the heart of delivering exceptional service across our café, events, match day and food outlets. How you'll make an impact Support the Food & Beverage Manager in the hands-on day-to-day operations of the department Supervise and lead front-of-house and back-of-house teams across all food and beverage outlets Maintain high standards of food quality, service, cleanliness, and presentation Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and licensing laws Maintain a strong hands-on customer service presence on the café floor, ensuring guests are welcomed, service standards are upheld, and any issues are promptly addressed Work closely with the kitchen and events teams to ensure seamless service delivery Contribute to menu planning, promotional activities, and budgeting as required Lead the execution of all internal and external events delivering exceptional guest experiences from setup to pack-down, including hosting Oversee staff rosters while controlling labour costs Assist with staff onboarding and training Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager to forecast needs, track expenses, and support financial targets A great fit for this role looks like Relevant qualifications in hospitality (desirable).
