The Opportunity As an Educational Leader and member of our leadership team at Orana Preschool, you will establish warm, nurturing relationships with each child, friendly, supportive relationships with their families and strong working relationships with your team members. You will lead engaging learning experiences and educational programs, furthering each child's development through play-based education and ensure a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment. You'll also ensure compliance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS), while providing guidance and mentorship to other team members, fostering a culture of curiosity, creativity, and belonging. What's needed to succeed? ACECQA approved Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching, OR enrolled and working towards this qualification Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience working in leadership roles Minimum of 12 months working full-time in Early Childhood settings Ability to develop appropriate and sustained relationships with children Demonstrated awareness of the rights of the child Ability to communicate effectively with parents, children, colleagues, and other stakeholders. Ability to create and implement high quality educational programs for young children. Demonstrated awareness of mandatory reporting obligations Possess the personal attributes of optimism, resilience, and flexibility Understanding of work health and safety responsibilities Current First Aid, CPR Asthma & Anaphylaxis qualifications, or willing to obtain.
