The Role Due to our growing portfolio of projects, we are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join our Environment, Planning & Land team. Based in Brisbane QLD, you will manage and escalate project issues in accordance with agreed development frameworks, applying critical thinking to proactively solve complex challenges. Previous experience identifying and proactively managing project risk as it relates to land, planning, environment, and stakeholder matters on large infrastructure projects is essential for this role. Previous experience working with pumped-hydro projects will be highly valued for this role. What we're looking for: A relevant planning bachelor’s or master’s degree (or similar discipline)A minimum of 5 years of experience in the planning and approvals space, ideally with prior experience working within the renewable energy sector. Experience coordinating multidisciplinary planning and approvals inputs for large-scale infrastructure projects. Planning, pre-construction, and construction exposure is highly regarded. Strong knowledge of federal and state approval frameworks, particularly Queensland’s planning and environmental legislation (e.g., SDPWO Act). Proven ability to lead, collaborate, and communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation. Familiarity with the interface between commercial and technical aspects of a project, and confidence working within a techno-commercial environmentProven ability to engage and manage consultants, assess technical documents, and lead approvals workstreams. Strong commercial mindset with experience contributing to project budgets, development schedules, and transaction documentation. Why Join Us?
