The Role As a Mechanical Engineer, you will collaborate with the team in a supportive, inclusive, and fast-paced environment to bring cutting-edge medical innovations to life. You will be able to leverage your mechanical design expertise to solve complex problems and drive the evolution of game-changing products. Apply practical and creative thinking to conceptualise and develop complex mechanisms Use your proficiency in 3D CAD software and technical drawing creation to transform ideas into detailed models and packages Conduct design reviews, collaborate on concept development and perform DFMEA, FMEA, FAI, GD&T, GR&R and tolerance analysis Leverage your knowledge of mechanical design processes, including injection moulding, sheet metal, extrusion and rapid prototyping Capture design intent and support patent documentation to protect the company’s innovative contributions Skills and experience Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering 1-3 years hands-on mechanical design experience, preferably in a regulated environment such as medical devices A strong understanding of FMEA, FAI, GD&T, and tolerance analysis techniques Knowledge of mechanical design processes, including injection moulding, sheet metal, extrusion and rapid prototyping Familiarity with FMEA, FAI, GD&T, tolerance analysis Experience working in regulated environments such as medical devices is highly desirable N.B.
