Phone, Laptop & Vehicle Allowance provided About The Role We are seeking an experienced Interior & Exterior Project Representative to join our dynamic B2B team in Alexandria. This role combines proven interior design expertise with a strong focus on securing specifications with architects and designers , and supporting builders and installers to maintain them. You’ll be responsible for delivering creative, product-focused design solutions, meeting with clients, and working closely with key stakeholders to ensure high-quality project outcomes that align with our business objectives. This diverse and client-facing role offers a unique opportunity to engage on a technical, creative, and commercial level . The ideal candidate will bring a keen eye for design, a strong understanding of materials and trends, and the capability to manage projects from concept to completion. Key Responsibilities Design Development Develop interior design concepts, mood boards, and layouts for residential, commercial, and retail projects. Provide design solutions that reflect National Tiles’ products and meet the specific needs of clients. Stay up to date with current interior design trends, materials, and colour schemes. Client Collaboration Actively pursue new clients and opportunities within the set geographical territory Collaborate with Architects to understand their vision and translate it into viable design solutions. Regularly meet with clients, builders, and other stakeholders to discuss design needs, budgets, and timelines. Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a high level of satisfaction Project Management Oversee design projects from conception to execution, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and design specifications are met. Work closely with stakeholders to source materials and products that align with the design vision. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality and consistency of design execution. Presentation and Reporting Prepare and present design proposals to clients and internal teams. Create detailed design documentation including floor plans, elevations, and 3D renders to appropriately display and sell our product ranges. Maintain clear communication with clients regarding design progress, adjustments, and changes. Problem-Solving and Innovation Address and resolve design challenges, offering creative solutions within the given constraints (e.g., budget, timeline, space). Continuously look for ways to improve the design process and enhance the overall client experience. Skills / Qualifications / Experience Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field. Relevant certifications or ongoing professional development in design is a plus. Must have valid Australian Drivers License Minimum of two years of experience in interior design, preferably in the commercial, retail, or residential sectors. Proven experience working with clients and managing design projects Proficiency in design software such as ArchiCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), and other relevant tools. Strong knowledge of design principles, space planning, colour theory, and materials. CRM management skills is a plus About You Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, teams, and stakeholders. A proactive and solution-oriented mindset. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
