Position Overview: The company is seeking a skilled draftsperson with the ability to produce detailed 2D and 3D structural drawings for steel and concrete elements using AutoCAD, and ideally Revit or Civil 3D. The role involves drafting structural layouts and civil infrastructure components such as framing, footings, retaining walls, pits, and culverts. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with engineers and project stakeholders to ensure drawing accuracy and compliance with applicable standards. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate structural and civil drawings with architectural and service layouts Maintain drawing registers, revision control, and project documentation Interpret engineering drawings and specifications with precision Communicate clearly with engineers and relevant stakeholders Identify and resolve drafting issues in a timely manner Candidate Profile: Degree or Diploma in Structural Drafting or a related field Proven experience in structural detailing within the construction industry Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D); familiarity with Revit or Civil 3D is advantageous Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, council guidelines, and engineering codes Exceptional attention to detail and effective communication skills Well-developed organisational and time management capabilities Collaborative team player Why Join This Organisation?
