Rawlinna Station – one of the world’s largest working sheep stations is looking for a hands-on, self-reliant person to take care of the Dog Fence. If you’re experienced in fencing, comfortable in the bush and like working solo, this could be the gig for you. What’s on offer: Full-time role based at Rawlinna Station (4 hours east of Kalgoorlie, WA) Work vehicle, gear, and primary tools provided Food and accommodation included Highly independent role – spend your days out on the station Competitive pay package (based on experience) What you’ll be doing: Patrolling and maintaining the Dog Fence that runs through the property Carrying out repairs, upkeep and general fence work Setting and checking traps for pests/vermin Monitoring livestock watering points along your route Camping out during the week What we’re looking for: Strong fencing experience (essential) Confident operating a 4WD off-road Comfortable working and living remotely Able to work independently and solve problems on the go Firearms licence (or willing to get one) is an advantage Practical, capable and resourceful About us: We’re a fourth-generation Aussie outfit running large-scale sheep and cattle stations across the country.
