This pivotal role will see you managing all aspects of tax strategy, reporting, and advisory, ensuring adherence to tax laws and contributing to key business initiatives. About the Role As the Tax Manager you will oversee and manage all taxation functions across the NQA Group. Reporting into the Financial Controller in this standalone role, you will take ownership of tax governance, compliance, reporting and advisory services. You will be responsible for meeting all taxation obligations, maintaining governance standards in alignment with requirements, and providing expert guidance on legislative developments and their impact on the business. Responsibilities Actively manage and oversee all taxation matters across the NQA Group, including direct and indirect taxes Ensure full compliance with ATO and other statutory requirements, including timely preparation and lodgement of all returns. Maintain group taxation policies and the Tax Risk Register. Lead the Annual Tax Governance Review. Prepare tax-effect accounting calculations, quarterly distributions and assist with shareholder taxation requirements Provide advice to the business on taxation compliance and assessment of transactions. Monitor and interpret legislative changes; assess business impacts and communicate recommendations. Skills and Experience Required Sound knowledge of complex taxation matters. CA or CPA qualification (or Masters of Tax), with at least 3 years’ experience in a corporate tax role. Sound knowledge across both direct and indirect taxes Proven ability to assess legislative change and implement compliant processes. ERP Experience (SAP or TechOne highly regarded). Excellent attention to detail, time management, and stakeholder engagement.
