Heritage Stone Pty Ltd Position : Full Time Location : Cambridge Tasmania Salary : $70,000 - $80,000 a year Heritage Stone is a stone masonry business that specialises in processing natural stone such as sandstone, marble and granite and fabricated products like engineered stone and sintered stone. They are currently seeking highly capable, fulltime Stonemason to join their team. Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities: Fabricating and installing stone benchtops Liaise with customers out on site and report back to the customer services manager Accurately reading and understanding drawings and specifications to determine materials required and reduce material wastages. Cut and polish natural and engineered stones using wet cutting and polishing hand tools Cut and glue mitred and lamination joints Assembling and fabricating various parts to create a finished product Laminating or gluing for different types of stones and shaping and polishing different edge Matching the order invoices, quality check To be considered for the position you must possess the following: Relevant trade qualification At least 2 years of relevant experience Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines A strong technical understanding of stonemasonry and all the different types of materials and finishes If you think you meet the above criteria, please apply now.
