We’re currently on the lookout for two Civil Excavator Operators to join our growing team. This job is split between being in the Excavator and being on the ground. The job is based around Haul road construction and Pipe Installation for Ravenswood Gold Mine. What You’ll Be Doing: When operating the machine: Clear, cut, fill, and grade haul roads to spec. Spread and compact sub-base materials. Excavate trenches to correct depth and alignment. Prepare bedding and assist with pipe laying. Backfill safely using compaction and shoring. When on the ground: Spot and guide excavator during trenching and backfilling. Prepare trenches and install bedding for pipework. Lay and align stormwater/sewer pipes to grade. Backfill, compact, and assist with haul road formation. Carry out general labouring, clean-up, and site safety tasks. What We’re Looking For: Valid RII Excavator ticket Minimum 5 years' civil construction experience on subdivisions, roads, drainage GPS experience is a bonus, but not essential MUST BE HAPPY TO WORK ON THE GROUND Must hold a current driver’s licence and reliable transport Why Work With Us?
