Our Client is looking for a Civils Supervisor to join its growing leadership team in Mackay. The company partners with Tier 1 contractors, councils, and utility providers to deliver safe, efficient, and reliable civil infrastructure works across regional Queensland. The Opportunity Reporting to the Civils Manager, the Civils Supervisor will lead field teams and subcontractors across diverse civil projects. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with strong technical knowledge and a focus on driving team performance. Projects include trenching, conduit installation, potholing, non-destructive digging (NDD), and reinstatement. Travel to regional project sites will be required. Key Responsibilities Supervise civil works including trenching, conduit installation, potholing, and reinstatement Manage site crews and subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and productivity targets Lead daily site activities, including pre-starts, toolbox talks, and risk assessments Coordinate plant, equipment, logistics, and material deliveries Monitor progress against schedule, budget, and scope, and address any delays or issues Maintain accurate site records and report on progress and milestones Act as the key point of contact for clients, inspectors, and internal stakeholders Support workforce forecasting, scheduling, and quoting/tendering activities About You Minimum 5 years’ experience in civil construction with site supervision background Experience in utility and infrastructure projects (e.g. NBN, Telstra, Energex, council works) Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage dispersed teams Comfortable working in regional or remote locations Knowledge of construction standards, WHS legislation, and environmental compliance Competent in using project software (Assignar, Simpro, Excel, etc.) White Card and Open Manual Driver’s Licence (mandatory) Relevant trade or civil construction qualifications are advantageous Benefits Competitive salary and career growth opportunities Permanent role with a stable and reputable employer Autonomous leadership position with project influence Work on major regional infrastructure with leading clients Supportive team environment and access to professional development Internal mobility pathways across broader business operations If interested please call Sean on 0281032120.
